Hypocrisy began as a solo project of Peter TƤgtgren under the name Seditious at the end of the '80s.
During the late '80s/early '90s Peter lived in the US and became heavily influenced by the American death metal scene. He then moved back to Sweden and with a new perspective on death metal.
Hypocrisy's first logo, which was Masse Broberg's idea, was made by Peter Almlƶf
