Formed in May 1986 by Andrew Sakowicz and Dave Wilkinson under the name of Rigor Mortis.
The band used to rehearse in Cleveland, Ohio where Steve Shalaty lived with the three New York-based band members making the 14-hour round trip. They stopped this practice around 2010 and currently only play together at live shows.
